European Amber has air bubbles to give Amber
its beautiful look but Dominican Republic Amber is known for its
insect inclusions. While European amber comes in shades of
yellow, green, and brown, in the Dominican Republic rare red
amber and even rarer blue amber is found. Blue amber is the
diamond of the amber world and it is very hard to find. If a
Dominican is fortunate to find blue amber, he will keep it and
barter with jewelers when times are extremely rough for his family.
